F*king lekker. Veel perzik, toontje sinaasappel, tikkie azijnzuur, milde bitter, ongebrande amandel. Ja lekker man.

One of the finest beers I’ve had. Light yet complex. So much earthy barnyard funk over citrus with a dry mineral finish. World class.

Probably the best boon ever. lovely aroma of farmhouse kitchen, white wine vinegar and cider apples. Very tart and tangy, apricot, honey crisp apple, honey, and some citrus flavors. Some bready malt on the finish, but stays fruity and sour the whole way

Second bottle. This one #03571 w DWH. Sublime. Harmonic convergence. Ne perdatis, ne moriamini.

Absolutely gorgeous. "Japanese crackers" on the nose and palate. Just the right level of sourness. I just wish that I'd bought more than one bottle.

Not only is this beer phenomenal on it’s own, but being paired with a Beaufort cheese from Savoie, France takes it up a notch.

One year later, this special blend from Frank is more expressive, with more refined funk character, and not as light. But the finish is surprisingly smooth and graceful. A special beer to toast the new year.

Super interesting. Seems to be basically 2 vat beers (oldest and newest foedres). A little stinky but really tasty. Karel Boon hosted tasting.

Ils ne se sont vraiment pas trompés dans le nom de cette bière.

Another year and the flavors have evolved again. Nose is sweet funk of orange blossom, hay, horse blanket, must, some clay. Body is thicker and more dense flavors now, compared to the past two tastings. Dry and mineral. Sour green apple. Little pear. ⬇️
