Sour apples and lemons on the nose. Barnyard dry funk body. Needs a bit to soften a bit I think. Heavy on the rind but very good.

Heerlijke geuze. Eikenhout en vol mond gevoel. Beetje citrus in de afdronk. Nu ik lees dat vat59 eigenlijk een oud Calvados vat is, proef ik ver weg iets met appeltjes, maar dat had ik zonder het te lezen er niet in terug gevonden

Fullbodied. Round flavours of red wine, calvados. White grapes/wine too. Bit sharp aftertaste with lots of wood, tannins, but never annoying. Some bitterness on the tongue. Very good one!

Funkiere og mer eplepreg i nesa enn vanlig Boon. I smaken har den ganske mye sødme, noe bitterhet og svakt hint av røyk. Uhyre balansert.

Syrlig med en eftersmak som mycket lång och torrare än Sahara. Påminner lite om en torr champagne. Fantastisk
