Cherry stones on the nose, bright crisp and fresh on the palate, zingy acidity, sweet and sour cherry, vanilla and oak. Remains vibrant and juicy throught , dry on the finish with lingering bitter cherry notes . Tannic bite and overall very exuberant

Wauw! Virkelig super lækker sprudlende sur lille fætter med et kæmpe kick af kirsebær, et hint af vanille og en lille bitte smule … nødder (?). Sprød og frisk som bare fanden. Kæmpe lækker og læskende!

I had the pleasure of trying Frederiksdal Oude Kriek Barrel Finish and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. This beer is a true masterpiece, with a complex flavor profile that is both tart and sweet, with a perfect balance of fruit and cherry.

More acidic than the barrel finish due to the foeder ageing. Otherwise pretty much the same with the other variant - not a lot of body complexity and decent kriek aromatics
