Rosé de Gambrinus (2021) K.

Raspberry is overpowering. The base doesn’t shine enough. It’s good, don’t get me wrong… it needs more time or perhaps less fruit. Perhaps the “juiciest” Cantillon I’ve ever had.

Bruocsella 1900 Grand Cru (2021) K.

Like the past vintages I’ve had, it needs time. Definitely off-putting to some regardless… no carb and mostly malt and funk (I still get great citrus notes, albeit rotten, and I love that.) Time does wonders for this one. Sit on it.

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2014) K.

Time nurtured this bottle. Holy hell. Insane nose and creamy carb/body. The nose was my favorite part. Intense lemon juice poured on a hay barrel surrounded by dilapidated barn walls. Fuck yes.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2011) K.

Nose = oak, black tea, and deep old book paper funk with a little marmalade. Taste follows, but is subdued. No carb at all. Fun tick.

Lou Pepe Kriek (2017) K.

BIG tick for me. That cinnamon note might be one of the most vivid, inexplicable and delicious notes I’ve ever had from a beer. Not a Kriek guy normally. Supreme. Thank you Antoine H.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Brut (2020) K.

So nice. Refreshing, just the right amount of funk/Cantillon rusticness. Modestly tart. The kind of lambic I’d want at my wedding. Thank you Leon S.

Iris (2020) K.

Smells like wheat and pissed pants. Tastes like marmalade left in the sun for a lil too long. God I love this.

Creamy. Tastes like the most savory and angelic dirt you’ve ever had.

Fou' Foune K.

Consumed alone this time, but every other bottle I’ve had has been shared with friends and family. They’ve loved it even if they “don’t like beer”. Miracle-making liquid. Love it so much.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 109 Mono Blend K.

Bad bottle. A bit of tartness followed by burning saltwater. What was this cellared in? A microwave?

Bruocsella 1900 Grand Cru K.

No carb. Smells like some old cat lady’s basement. Tastes like apple skins, vinegar, and wood from a shipwrecked fishing boat. If you think this sucks, gimme your bottles.
