Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2020) R.
Nice moist cellar, white grapes and mild horse blanket. Sharp white grapes, sharp gooseberry and lemon juice. Finishes with brett and under ripe white grape and oak tannin. Strange with no carbonation, seems much more astringent

Lemon and fresh green hop with minimal maltyness. Tart, sour lemon and hay with an immediate hit if bitter green hop. Moves to brett, gooseberry and lavender to finish, really floral. Really nice to see cantillon testing what lambic is capable of

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2019) R.
Sage, horse and green hop aroma. Really cool balance of acidic hop, lemon and green hop bitterness. Mellow lemon follows, into tart lemon and minimal funk to finish. Brilliant mix of fresh hop and old lambic

Massive elderflower and hedgerow berry aroma. Elderflower, apple and white grapes, followed by tart lemon. Finishes with loads more elderflower and sparkling grape sod. Very sour from start to finish, with big carbonation enhancing everything.

Slightly less cabbage than the 2019. Much more sugar rhubarb, along with hay aroma. Lemon sherbet, ripe rhubarb and fresh yoghurt. Then gooseberry and funk. Finishes with more rhubarb and white grapes. Miles better than the 2020, more fruit prominence.

Very chalky, dusty, vegetal aroma with caramelised sugar. Tart rhubarb, clotted cream, followed by lemon sherbet. Finishes with yoghurt and tart gooseberry, minimal funk. Not bad, was hoping for more. 2020 up next. 2019 cork

Massive apricot, vanilla and minimal funk. Apricot jam, white grapes and lemon, followed by peach and more sticky apricot. Finishes with tart gooseberry and more sweet peaches. Really lovely to have minimal funk and let the fruit shine through. 2020 cork

Big carbonation, had to tame this beast. Brett funk with white wine aroma. Starts with apples and hay, into dry apple cider and finishes with nice sour citrus and dry tannin. 4.0/5

Beautiful golden colour, complex aroma of lactic acid and citrus with a hint of brett funk. First sip is incredible, tart white grapes, huge farmhouse flavours and apple and oakyness at the end. Can't beat this beer, it's perfection.

Lovely pineapple and mango aroma. Lovely juicy hit of pineapple at first and then grassy hops with minimal bitterness. Great crisp finish, super refreshing. Cheers Anil R.
