Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) Lecubin
One of the least sour cantillons, still quite funny

50 Degrees N - 4 Degrees E (2020) (Cognac) Lecubin
Very low carbonation at this point, great balance, funky but with a sweet white wine side

Nice rounded gueuze, pretty fruity but keeps the cantillon funkiness and astringency.

Liquid Confidence / Confidential Lecubin
Clear Mexican chilli flavor without the heat, a bit on the sweet side but not much

This is half way between lambic and wine, really interesting and well balanced but not my favorite because I'm not that much of a wine person haha

Lambic Grenache Blanc (2021) Lecubin
On the smooth side of cantillon but not sweet of course, natural sweet white grape

Wild Friendship (2022) Lecubin
Strong barrel, pretty tanic and astringent, a little less interesting than the average Cantillon

Super floral, almost perfumey but well balanced, and of course that funky base

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio Lecubin
Funky and slightly fruity, not super sour, almost flat, straight lambic is not your everyday beer haha

HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend (2021) Lecubin
Funky and quite astringent, not overly sour, great with all the fat in this Christmas lunch 🎅😂
over 2 years ago
Great balance of sourness and func and a big layer of deep red cherry flavor
over 2 years ago
Super fruity but quite sweet/lactosey, could use some sourness to balance

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 31 Mono Blend Lecubin
Oak and astringency on point, could use a bit more sour funk for balance
about 3 years ago
Clear barrel without booziness, sweet vanilla and a hint of maple/caramel in the background
over 3 years ago
Even more funk and acidity than the previous ones, works beautifully with the grapes 😍

Nice, really delivers on that promise of mosaic, definitely a hop that can stand on its own

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Lecubin
Great liquid chocolate cake, a slight boozy kick and a hint of maple without being too sweet. Founders stouts never disappoint.

Nice body for less than 5%, not too interesting on the hop side but I would happily drink that again
over 4 years ago
Shit, didn't notice this one had lactose... The hop profile is really nice but kinda ruined by that 😅

Oh that's reaaally nice, a good dark chocolate base with a lot of raspberry. Very balanced, not too sweet, a tiny bit of acidity

Underground Mountain Brown Lecubin
Wow I didn't expect something that big from the style. Very nice caramel, coffee and cacao and the booze is pretty discreet
