Saint Lamvinus Merz

A little too fruity cold medicine-like.

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) Merz

Last time I had this was during our wedding dinner… think I’ll remember it a bit better this time…it certainly was a worthy bottle for the occasion…as is this draft today…to an amazing run Spuyten Duyvil. TY!

120 Minute IPA (2012) Merz

11 years old. Drinking very well. Much nicer than a 2018.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2015-2016) Merz

Pretty thin and lifeless. Lots good about it still but may be off. All the right funk in the body of the nose and way back of the palate but with foot holding it down.

Iris (2006) Merz

Most expensive draft I’ve ever ordered but mostly worth it. Still has lots of life in it. Very rich, substantially tart, and fuller bodied.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 108 Mono Blend Merz

Creamy bright nose. Rich and substantial, smells, feels, and tastes of age even though this isn't that old. Quite acidic and funky / woody / cardboardy. Thin finish then into a long deep acidic after finish.

More full bodied, a bit juicy, a touch spicy and a smoky. Medium sour and tart.
