Nice and potent. Good sour bite and a little lingering pucker. Pretty smooth.

Never had anything quite like it. Dried apples on the nose, funky sour throughout.

Course 3: butterpoached back of cod, pea puree and miso beurre blanc. Since drinking Iris the first time fresh many years ago I blurted out "this beer will age amazingly!!" - and I stand by that statement! Perfection in itself, but also in the pairing!!

Big thanks for cracking this Mats J. Aged iris indeed best iris. Huge funk character with some acidity which blew the dish and pairing to the next level. Food pairing: butter poached cod on top of peas & miso beurre blanc. 11/10 pairing

A treat to me for making it here. Tart but not sharp, smooth

Most expensive draft I’ve ever ordered but mostly worth it. Still has lots of life in it. Very rich, substantially tart, and fuller bodied.

Wow age On this beer does wonders! 15 years makes the floral character more subtle but so much leathery funk from geuze fabulous
