Carignan Vad Godtberg Jensen

Animalistic funk, cheesy, Oak, loads of grape, tannins, blackcurrant, ribes. Great red grape lambic, but needs more time for the lambic to shine.

Sophia Lambic (2022) Vad Godtberg Jensen

More balanced, musty funk, drying minerality, Oak, dusty grape, pear, citrus.

Zwanze 2022 - Poivre de Gorilles Vad Godtberg Jensen

Massive fruity pepper nose, apricot, apple, flavor follows, pepper is forward yet balanced, like pepper geuze almost. Floral, Earl Grey tea notes. Unique and awesome, one of my favorites this time. Will age really well!

Zwanze 2021 - Parasol Vad Godtberg Jensen

Lambic is shining more this time, less perfume, more soft funk, more stone fruit, but loads of orange, kumquat & citrus pith. Seems like is benefitting from age, probably will get even better.

Vin Santo 2022 Vad Godtberg Jensen

Tannic, tropical fruit, waxy grapes, soft funk, cedar. Great, liked it a little more last time though.

Blåbær Lambik (Blueberry Lambic) (2022) Vad Godtberg Jensen

Deep Blueberry, heavy tannins, Oak, gentle funk. Really nice to try, since i missed last year's release.

Old cellar funk, sherry, dried apricot, lemon, vibrant considering the age. One of the best during the visit to Cantillon!

Saint Lamvinus Grand Cru (2018) Vad Godtberg Jensen

Really amazing too. Loads of layered deep merlot, really nice musty funk, drying barrel, resin, tobacco, earthiness, black currant, red currant, dark dried cherry. One of the more funky so far.

Really amazing stuff. Such a well balanced grape quality. Almost dill & coriander flavors. Floral, citrus, stone fruit, light funk, vinous oak.

Prefer this to Piacere. More robust grape quality and balanced acidity, big drying tannin, tobacco, leather, dark berries, earthiness and some spice.

I can only laugh at the average of this beer.. This is a great interpretation of something like Schlenkerla Helles! Sweet bready malt, peppery, grassy & spicy hops, maybe even slightly floral and a nice beechwood style meaty smoke. I could crush liters!🔥

Nice soft more burnt woody smoke. Sweet oats, toasty malt, cacao, nettely hops, soft bitterness, charred crusty brown bread and a hint of stewed fruit. Also super crushable, but I could use even more smoke haha! Nice to see Gamma doing old money beer!🤘

Looks like a NEIPA, got much more bitterness. Kind of a hybrid i guess? Slightly non distinct hop flavor, bitter pithy citrus, earthiness and a hint of bright dank vibes. All in all a bit muddled, but decent.

Great Berliner! Luckily not Pastry or Smoothie, but big blackcurrant flavor, currant leaves, wheat, doughy breadiness, balanced sourness. Actually a really nice Berliner that os very fruited, but still has base presence!

To me this really lacks a beefy base to handle the adjuncts. Åben usually make really nice beer, but this is quite disappointing. It kinda taste more like some kinda British Dark Ale with coconut than a Stout, as its more toasty than roasty.

A dead on Helles. Super chewy malt flavor, really bready and a nice undercurrent of grassy hops, with a very subtle bitterness and nicely dry finish. People need to understand these styles better man... this average is abysmal for such a dead on Helles!

Maaan... this was just waaay too sour... Like drinking funky raspberry vinegar. Some oxidation and funky vibes. Either this is over the hill, a bad bottle, or I have gotten more sensitive to anything really vinegary sour over the years.
