Bruocsella 1900 Grand Cru Thorn
Beautiful irridescense, glowing orange, completely still. Funky cheese and gym socks, lemon and fusel. Medium bodied, lightly watery, vinous, back-end sharpness, like an aged cheddar. Long, lingering, mildew finish.

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2010) Thorn
What a change a decade+ makes. This is incredibly vinous with an assertive lactic sourness, rich leather and sherry notes from where steady oxidation has transformed this. Some earthy and bitter notes round it out. I prefer younger, but this is superb.

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2021) Thorn
Just some of the best fresh kriek I’ve had in a minute. Tons of cherry with a pronounced almond backbone, I’m sure some age would let more of the lambic play but this is delicious and not achingly sour. Killer.

Oude Geuze White Vermouth Foeders Thorn
Honestly this is what I’ve been looking for and missing from the vast majority of 3F lambics I’ve had lately: crazy drinkability. Funky and balanced, drying and bitter, with sourness in the background. This is a geuze to drink by the case.
