Magic Lambic (2024) Piotrowski
Amazing smell, reminding me of raspberry muffins. A very delicate taste, low funk and medium sourness fir the style. The work of vanilla and the berries is tremendous, though, leaving a lasting feeling in the mouth. Not worth the price, but still great.

[7/10/21] not much left of the grapes, barely some fruit effects near the end, and the vinous dryness in the aftertaste. Still, an amazing Lambic.

Cantillon Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2017-2018) Piotrowski
Huh, it's almost not sour at all! Surprisingly full bodied for a wild ale. Very nice tart finish. That being said - I expected way more.

Rose De Gambrinus (2023) Piotrowski
Once you get through the layer of vinegar, you get a tremendous smell of fresh honey and rosebud jelly. Dry but really fruity flavour with a nice, tart finish. It's also damn sour, which I love.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2016) 12.4% Piotrowski
Christ-Al-Mighty! Cocia, cocoa, wood, and some more cocoa in the smell. Smooth, glorious woody body with a solid barrel flavours of coconut and vanilla. Awesome aftertaste, dark chocolate, some more vanilla... my God, what an experience.

Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA Piotrowski
Well, that's something. Vanilla and raisins, some shadow of the hops on the deeper nose. Darn sweet, cookish, it's basically a cheesecake ale, very warming, bourbony aftertaste. How did they reach 17%??

Mmm, yummy! Citrusy, more on a sweet side of the fruits. Low bitterness but it is discernable in the aftertaste. Love that aroma too.

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2022) Piotrowski
#DzikiPanel It's... fine. Cherry and funky aroma. Taste dominated by cherry skin and not much else, except for the tart finish. A very much alright Lambic.

Yeah, we're good. Smells almost like a Chardonnay, taste is an entirely different beast. First it's just sweetness. Then, aftertaste hits with lime. Then, lime goes all the way through. Incredible. Great pun, too. Would be 5 if chilli did anything.

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio Piotrowski
Damn nice. Very cherrish-spur aroma, cherry also goes out initially in the mouth but funkiness quickly appears to overpower it. What's left is an interesting cherry seed taste, staying there till the end. Darn intriguing beer.

Nice wilderness with quite hoppy aroma. Taste is very Lambicy, a bit vinegary vut in a nice way.

Just now I realise that the Gueuze I drank on the 30th of December was likely this one, not the Bio. An amazing beer but, truth be told, I should've withheld it for another occasion.

Te smell is disgusting, like an old yeast and sulfur. The taste, though, it's glorious. Given that it's a lambic, I can't really take points off for the smell, so it's a damn solid rating.

Chocolate and mint (!) In the smell. Surprisingly herbal on the palette. Very nice.
