Fresh as f*ck • very hoppy; no burn ❌🔥 = ❤️ • not as fruity and pineapple-typ as expected… fortunately 😍 • lighter body, but adequate for the 7.7% • pretty dry “DDH” •

Pleasant Gose • added Buddhas Hand lemon fruit, apparently a slightly sweeter version of a lime • salt is present ☑️ • gently tart, light & easy and exactly how a Gose should be • nose is partly lime; partly a bit sweeter • wouldn’t mind a lower carbo •

WoW.. so this is barrel aging from red wine? Leftovers from the Fanø Bryghus TTO yesterday • flavor overdo the aroma • perfect rich & sticky texture • 1st sip was awesome • slowly more tannins, but quite tamed • surely a 🍺 to salute the Fanøs skills!

Nelson Sauvignon / Sauvin Brut
Wishlisted for some time. White grapes and Brett notes. Mostly brett and some vinous flavors. Small sweetness which is being teased by a not so pleasant bitterness. Too much Brett imo. Medium dry and not like expected (very dry). Not a rebuy

• post CCBTsimetjin • or after party 🎈• where’s Michael B. ? 😳😂 • more fruity a TIPA than expected • well hidden ABV • stone fruity flavors •

My 2nd / 1st on can | If I didn’t know it I’d say this version was a Gose! Nice salty note in the sea of tartness. Orange/gooseberry nose. Nicely tamed fruit flavored and the salty note as mentioned. Nice thirst quencher on the top of summer. Same rating

Beer on my list to the •IPA Sväng 2021• last Monday with calcio italiano amigo Toke S. Brewed a.o. by good friend Kasper W. Modern soft palate… oats and wheat added. Fruitiness is underplayed. Doesn’t get too tropical, MERCI! Small burn as a bonus 😉✔️
almost 4 years ago
Quite a passion fruit tart bomb💥 Adjusted with some slightly salty notes / could be more. But well executed Gose with a higher ABV than usual. More rich bodied. Tart, slightly bitter, tiny salty. On my way to Ölets Dag 2021 at Sweden 🇸🇪 Welcome to Swe!
No newbie here as friends check•ins dates as far back as 2012! Coffee/toffee opening. Subtle hazelnut. Quite tart notes along the bitterness and coffee. Hazelnut could be more present. Nose gets better balanced, but tartness kinda ruins. Keg from 2020.

My 1st CBS on nitro! But what a nice treat! Copenhagen is RED&WHITE this evening 🔴⚪️ CBS 2019 - a good year? Don’t know, but you got barred touch here in combo with the most smooth palate. Not flat, but silent and elegant.

Beer Geek Breakfast Barrel Aged Bourbon (7.5%)
Backlog | 23/06/21 | BottleSharing with Magnus. No BB•info on the label, so an unknown vintage. Not undrinkable, but no bourbon present. The bottle went out and we didn’t pay for it. Roasted, tobacco notes, moldy. Brewed at Lervig. No rating

Peter, Pale and Mary Gluten Free
Backlog | 26/06/21 | Robert S. kinda nails it 🎯 Mostly a style I don’t fancy and it’s not due to the gluten free. This is generally a bit too malty a PA imho, and I would wish … 3

Backlog | 17/06 | Post match beer + time for evaluation: Let’s pray for three points for 🇩🇰 against Russia on Monday. At the same time shouldn’t the Belgians stop here, but crush Finland just a little bit ( sorry Jan R. 😉 ). THAT would be The Gate‼️

Backlog | 17/06/21 | Saying welcome to my ‘Bror’ and finishing him off in drinking some German Hefeweizen. We’re preparing the landskampsplatte before the EURO2020 game: Denmark vs Belgium. As said before: THIS Gate is fresh! No expert me, but here 🥊💥☄️

4th for me and 1st for ThE DuKE - last one this afternoon! Great company in the tasting of OH and fine finish. The Gate for greater adventures is open, MM‼️🥊 fresh punch

Too sweet, and I probably don’t fancy the lychee flavor in IPAs. And maybe I should take a break from these marmalade TIPAs as well. BIG, yes, but I’m not overly impressed. Bit boozy as well. Luscious performance by L’Italia vs Switzerland 🇮🇹 3-0 🇨🇭
about 4 years ago
3rd go and freshissimo - Canned: 09/06/21‼️ Rumor says it’s the best D&B beer ever! Among DIPAs I have three at around 4.5, but this is definitely the best of the newest. Luscious haziness and tamed tropical notes wrapped in a tight grapefruit finish 🥊

The southern part of the Versus duel (opposite to Jewel) • This one is has written tropi haze all over. Sweeter than the Aslin karate boy, bit more lighter in body, but a few more keys to play as well. Fresh without burn. I go for Jewel , but it’s close..

Earlier this evening | fresh, but not that bite from the similar US 6.5’ers.

Last one in a row of nice beers on a sunny&warm Sunday in CPH! We’re blessed! Beer was really good!
Mostly a genuine hard roasted coffee flavor added licorice notes and wrapped in a pleasant smooth package. The added fruity cherries and cocoa plays hardly any role and reveals themselves subtle in the aroma. That said, it isn’t a bad Beer G(r)eek.

Nice challenge and interaction from D&B with the average Untappd user! Haven’t tried Hew. This one: stone fruity aroma of apricot and nectarine. Rather sweet flavored and yet new. Funny sweet note. Don’t recognize it. Not bad, just a bit odd right now.

CanSharing by YT with Hanne & the Thin Wite Duke of Sorö! Chocolate and some odd roasted note I don’t fancy. Drinkable, but far from the best Imperial Porter I’ve tried.

Passion fruit, pineapple and apple aroma. Easy tart flavor and quite fruity. Pineapple, but passion fruit to make it a balanced Sour. Somewhat thin finish to the ones from Fermenterarna yesterday. But basically fine. 0-2 at Sassoulo 🤍🖤
about 4 years ago
Excellent passion fruit nose and quite Gose-ish as it isn’t overpowering fruit. Must admit I bought this on behalf of the rating from NW. But it’s a very pleasant Gose. Tart and puckering with a small salty note. Well balanced. Must have the 8.0% edition!
Great bottleSharing with Oliver H. | Sweet and surprisingly low on tartness. But indeed a nice take on BEERarita with lime, agave and salty notes. Fine body, but also well hidden 10.0%. Delicious as a cocktail, but even better ‘cause it’s a BEER‼️😍

Birthday purchase in March | Sweet nose: elderflower, honey, orange peel, yeast. Slightly tobacco/cellar notes due to age (BB: 22/08/21). Pleasant rich 9.0% body and TTS flavor with coriander notes in a pond of sweet candy sugar. Not in best shape, but ✔

2 weeks ago I had my 1st small sips of the Bourbon BA George. This evening I decided to take the rest. Zero carbonation naturally. But a much more balanced BOY. Chocolate, bourbon in nose. Dark essence with tamed bourbon. Capsule on, but the LiON is tamed
about 4 years ago
2nd hit at this (2020 edition). Actually a bit disappointing again. The coffee and the brownie/chocolate kinda works, but I definitely would like the bourbon to play a much more significant role. Base beer is carrying it home. BottleSharing with Søren SH!

Backlog | 14/04/21 | CanSharing with Julie KH | At a lovely sunny spot outside Fiskebaren in Kødbyen, CPH | D&B have done more sharp TIPAs • too sweet and too less hopped to my best liking • lacks the punch 🥊 and some bitterness
