Apple pulp and grape nose. Gentle body of delicate red grapes and woody stems. Hints of Parmesan and dry wine. Helping with the headache!

Nose is apple all the way, skins and purée. Some damp hay too. Body is sharp and dry, acidic cider apples with a dirty ‘scrumpy’ taste. Bitter citrus pith. Unsure of bottling date 🤷♀️

Tart yet earthy nose with hints of beetroot and blueberry. Body has a pretty floral perfume, soft dark berries and a green leaf freshness. The earthy notes stop this being too acidic add to the slightly muddy taste.

New location in Stockholm so needed to try! Good feel. Nose has delicate apple and blossom notes. Its body is similar, not quite enough oomph to be a lambic, all a bit smooth. Very good drinking though. Merest hint of soft chamois leather.

Gentle lambic blend, oaky with plenty fruit skin tannins. Quite soft, funky and white grapey. Fresh hay bales and some white pepper. My taste buds are a bit shot! It’s good!

2-Year Unblended Oude Lambiek W
Lovely cream cheese and apple peel nose with a dollop of fresh cow poo! Body is muted browning apples, tobacco and some bitter and drying lemon pith. Charred lemon peel and a gentle funk. Needs more time to develop.

Funky cherry pie filling and a pinch of ground almond. Body is fabulously tart, cherry stone nuttiness, damp hay bale funk and overripe morello cherries. Thick and juicy mouthfeel with a twist of lemon zest.

3500! Funky and dirty, Sherry barrels and Plum skin tannins with a smear of cream cheese and then stinky parmesan. This is a fabulous sour beer journey - thanks Andrew L. ❤️

Elderflower, and funky, woody crushed twigs. Body is delicate and elegant, gentle elderflower perfume & ripe sweet white grapes. Lemon peel and white pepper give a slightly bitter end.

Grape must and white wine nose. Dry and furry mouthfeel-reminiscent of gooseberry flesh. Acidic with a verjus softness. Little bit lacking in ‘punch’, muted tones. I get a hint of sake!

Raisins soaked in red wine. Prune juice with some delicate tart redcurrants and a twist of lemon. Fruity and dry mouthfeel, softly sour, slight chalky finish.

Aroma of green apple skin and gentle funk. Dry and with a sherbet lemon fizz. Hint of white pepper and citrus peel too. I also get hot tarmac and ripe Brie skin.

Filthy browning apple skins and raw rhubarb. Flavour develops into marginally (!) sweeter poached forced rhubarb with a spit making sourness 😀. There is parmesan, soft leather and the merest hint of lemon. Acidic but utterly sublime.

Tinned peaches in mango purée. Very woody, hint of bitterness and then the syrup peaches. The amount of salt may put some off but I think it’s grand & balances out the sweetness. The fruit retains some tangy qualities.

Nose is redcurrants and cherries mixed with cream soda. Soft and tart mouthfeel, fresh raspberries and a few green twigs.

Passion wallop on the nose and then mango purée. Body much the same, clean and fresh with tropical fruit. The slight iron-y, woody mango enriches the tart passionfruit. Pinch of salt to finish. Easy, fruity drinking.

Nose is slightly solventy (nelson?) with a splash of orange juice. Lovely sharp body of gooseberry and Jaffa orange, no rough edges! A few (burpy!) hops and a touch of bitter neroli oil. This may be underscored!!

Funky nose, then the obvs banana🤮& clove. It’s as it should be for a hefe. Dry wheaty mouthfeel with oily orange peel. It’s actually really good. As a lady I don’t burp (!) but if I did this is germolene & disinfectant! Lol

Syrupy blackcurrant nose morphs into a bitter currant dryness. So many berries, dry mouthfeel and tart as f**k! Full blackcurrant, undiluted ribena richness. No words except blackcurrant and acidity.

Odd woody nose, green twigs and muddy paths. Ooooh plums and apricot juice massive in the body! Hints of stinky ripe Brie and real lemonade mixed with woody barrels-maybe rhubarb. 💕

Shredded wheat and cheap raspberry jam aroma. Body is sweet and jammy, with chewy cereal. Some sherbet lemon and doughy white bread too. This is easy drinking, uncomplicated and light.

Green leaves, raspberries and a a bit of citrus. Bit like a gone off raspberry yoghurt with honey. Not sure I like mead 😀

Tinned prunes on the nose. Burnt cherry jam and more prunes mixed with bitter and woody plum & cherry pits. Bit earthy with a hint of beetroot?

Nose is funky, Brie rind. Body is tart apricot flesh macerated in white wine, tannins from apricot stones & skins, with some chewy cereal in the background. Clean & sharp.

Earthy, tart, dry berries, almost smoky. Think cranberry crossed with baby beet and a young (raw) red wine. Some oak and funk with a lemon spritz.

Nose is plummy, red wine and a tiny square of dark chocolate. Acidic, oaky red wine body. Bit earthy, like windfall plums and some crumbled blue cheese. The acidity is a bit harsh but there are some lovely foraged fruit notes.

Tart tart raspberries with a dusting of icing sugar on the nose. The red lolly in a sherbet dib dab and some lemon sherbet. Well rounded with a soft whipped raspberry mousse end.

Interesting-sort of pickled lemon, woody, lemon rind and grapefruit juice. Slight bitterness but also lip lickingly sour and dry. Citrussy but not quite! I like.

Initially leather & browning apple peel. Flavour is super smooth, sweet green apple & a spritz of lemon juice. Parmesan rind, oak, fresh leaf tobacco & sharp plain yoghurt add depth & funk. Lovely dry mouthfeel.

Fresh beetroot juice, earthy, muddy & sweet. More cooked beet to taste and then an almost sour cherry/ white grape note mixed with soft leather and a hint of tobacco-a winner.

Geuze Mariage Parfait (2016) W
Browning bramley apple peel, damp farmyard aroma. Taste is full on funky, dry, oaky and supple leather. More brown apples, merest hint of lemon juice. Bit of burnt rubber creeping in. Yum!

Nose is pineapple & passionfruit. Taste is mixed tropical fruit juice, chewy oats, and a mild maltIness. As it warms, the mango intensifies and a fruit skin dryness emerges. I’m not sure.....sour level 4/10
