Centennial IPA Heine

Yikes. I’m guessing it tastes like it’s supposed to, but this is bordering on undrinkable. Malty and bitter like nothing else.

Mamouche Heine

Late. Unsure of vintage. No rating, as with the other two bottles.

Menu Pineau (2019) Heine

Gorgeous. Smooth, buttery, vinous. Could drink a bottle of this without hesitation.

Super smooth. Touch of acidity towards the end. Fantastic stuff.

Rosé de Gambrinus (2020) Heine

Late. Out of the readily available bottles from Cantillon, this is probably my favourite. Solid as always.

Japanese Rice Lager With Yuzu Heine

Nothing wrong with this. Perhaps not very exciting, but it’s crisp and clean.

Rosé de Gambrinus (2019) Heine

More sour than expected. Raspberries are obviously prominent, but feel more mellow compared to this years batch. Could probably do with cellaring for a year or so.

Magic Lambic Heine

Didn’t live up to my expectations - but still a great lambic. Raspberries and earthy blueberries. Hoping my own bottle develops nicely 🍻

Vinsanto 2020 Heine

Didn’t really suit my palate. A great beer, but somehow not quite my thing.

Beer Geek Fudgesicle BA Rye Whiskey Heine

This is honestly pretty fantastic. Tons of vanilla. Might not be the most exciting stout base, but the adjuncts are clean, and the result is great.

Rosé de Gambrinus (2020) Heine

Not sure if something was off with my (small 375 cl) bottle, but this feels considerably worse than the one I had on draft, or even bottles from previous years. I still have a few larger bottles, so holding off rating this one for now.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2005) Heine

Amazing aroma. Cork was in surprisingly good condition. Had soured slightly, but grows on you over time. Light funk. Good stuff - but not overwhelmingly better than the fresh version.

From yesterday. Can’t give this an honest rating. Still have another bottle - I’ll get back to this one.

Aronia Lambic Heine

One of the weirdest lambics I’ve had. Earthy, bitter, grassy, tons of funk. Not a personal favourite.
