Late. Well above expectations. Having had the original Camerise I was extremely sceptical, but this was a treat. Red berries, vinous, slight astringency towards the end. Happy with my decision to buy multiples of this bottle.

Super Blend - Akkurat 20th Anniversary Heine
Hot take: I really like this. I like Iris, so I like this.

24/? Less caramel, more funk. Barrel shines through more than previous batches. We absolutely take these.

14/? Initially I thought this was all over the place, but it has settled with some air. Lemony, green apples. Goes down, but not as fantastic as I remember it.

15/? Magnum. Dusty barn aroma, wet grass. Body is green apples. Well balanced.

10/? Orange peel, ginger. Yeah this is sour, but fuck me this hits hard

9/? Unreasonably smooth. Almonds, cherries, almost cookie-dough-like.

9/? Has held up well. The nose hits you like a truck. Body is more acidic than expected, but still goes down very easily.

Rose De Gambrinus (2023) Heine
Stunning. Such intense raspberries on the nose, along with that slight tone of earthy funk. Body is muted, soft, and unreasonably drinkable. Less acidic than one might think. Give me a bottle or two of these, and some summer weather please.

Canti Fonte Pasta E Basta Heine
From this weekend. This bottle sort of got lost during the share for me. Will have to revisit at some point - until next time.

Out of all the danish sherry-barrel-aged session milk stouts that have been aged for somewhere between 5 to 50 years; this might be my favourite.

In the greatest twist known to man, this lambic that was brewed with peppers tastes like peppers.

To the surprise of absolutely no one - this is fantastic, and it’s only going to get better.

Late. Was fukken plastered at this point during the night, but the bartender was friendly and I don’t remember having any complaints about the beer.

Tropical; heavy but not overbearing, lovely linger, reasonable bitterness. Rating is probably a few steps above what it should be - but please, more of this 👌

Frangelic Mountain Brown Heine
Late. Still haven’t forgiven Founders. Beer is decent.

Didn’t quite hit the spot for me. Thin body, with a disproportionately bitter finish.

Late. Honestly don’t remember. Pretty good? Will come back to this one at some point.

Prettiest lambic label in the game. Oh yeah, beer is pretty banger as well.

Lambic Grenache Blanc (2021) Heine
Aroma is off the charts. Soft acidity. Body is muted, but vinous and smooth.

8/? Amazing. Lovely acidity, citrusy aftertaste, fantastic linger.

Rosé De Gambrinus (2022) Heine
2/? Slightly metallic? Can’t beat my love of raspberries tho.

Bad bottle. Side-by-side with Kriek Vanilje, and this was noticeably worse. Shame. No rating.

Gorgeous. A touch sour if anything, but still extremely good.

Rosé de Gambrinus (2021) Heine
RDG is good. In other news, a day has passed today.

Gorgeous. Heavy on the raspberries, touch of blueberries, lots of vanilla towards the end. Slightly acidic towards the end.

Lovely. Reminds me of Menu Pineau, but slightly sharper, not as buttery and more acidic towards the back end. Approaching 4.5.

Lambic Vin Jaune / La Vie est Belge (2018) Heine
Oaky, touch of sherry, somewhat dry. Slightly acidic towards the end. A treat in any case.
