Juicy with tropical flavours and a stone fruit bitterness. Full body. Really good taste.

Fruity and grassy but not sweet. Nice dry bitterness. Pretty good.

Feels almost like summer. Juicy with some stone fruit bitterness, but dry and not sweet. Not bad.

Oh, will I ever learn - this is just as boring as last time. Malty citrus flavours and medium bitterness, with a full body and just as full amount of boredom. This was half price … and I still think it’s too expensive. Boring, boring, boring.
Light and clean with minimum malt and plenty of citrus flavours and bitterness. Not bad for a SIPA.
I bit thin for 8.4% ABV. Low bitterness - which is okay - and lots of fruit. Better than the NEIPA I had before, but at best just very average.
Roasty and malty with flavours of coffee and a bit of licorice. Good bitterness. Drinkable but not exactly exciting.
Full body. Good flavour. Stone fruit bitterness. Not bad.

Cinnamon … I think? Yeah, and sweet and full bodied too. And chocolate. Very smooth, but a bit too sweet and adjunct-y for me.
Clean and bitter with a piney flavour of citrus. Excellent. Just my kind of IPA.
Roasty with flavours of chocolate and some orange peel too, but not too much. Very dry. Not bad, but not something “really me” either.

Festival Special Edition 2013 - Stella 4 Borgquist
Good taste, but surprisingly thin body for its ABV. Must the the BA that affects it like that. Okay.
Low bitterness and fruity taste. A bit thin for its ABV, but there’s no arguing when it comes to the flavour - it’s great. And easily drinkable too.

Kasper Brew/ Nordvest ølbar Borgquist
Enkel med smag af citrus. Mellem bitterhed. En smule tynd, men let drikkelig.

The Lost Art of Keeping A Secret Borgquist
Bitter and hoppy with a malty and fruity long lasting flavour.
Bought at the prison. Thin body (understandable at 4.4% ABV) with a flavour of yeast, malt and fruit. Pretty boring. Not my style anyway.
Never too late for a good beer (especially when you’re off work, sick). Fruity, tasty and still good. Read previous rating for more details. They still apply.
It’s not bad, but not particularly good either. Roasty, malty and hoppy with some bitterness, but not a good lager and far from a stout. Probably wouldn’t pass the “would I like it if I had it blindfolded?” Not for me, anyway.

Last Xmas (Whiskey Barrel Aged) Borgquist
About a year later and it’s still excellent. Flavours of roasted coffee, chocolate and rye whisky. Seems a bit sweeter than before, but very drinkable indeed.
Damn, that’s refreshing. Fruity with some good balanced stone fruit bitterness and a good flavour. Excellent.
Last night. Good flavour - mostly coffee and not really coconut except for the bitterness that comes from it. Dry and roasty. Excellent.
Last night. Full bodied with a roasty dry flavour of coffee and chocolate. A bit simplistic, but very tasty despite it.
Flavours of malt and fruity citrus notes. Crisp but too malty for me. Boring.

Just the One - Amarillo Borgquist
Dry fruitiness with a peppery flavour. F*ck, this is pretty good. A prefer the Citra version, this is a good alternative.

Just the One - Idaho 7 Borgquist
Juicy stone fruit bitterness. Nice and dry too. Excellent.
Top notch combination of flavour and bitterness. Seems a bit different than earlier, but still balanced and tasty. Excellent.

Jule Mælk Islay Edition Borgquist
Full bodied and lively smoky. Still as good as all previous times I’ve had it.
Piney and citrusy dry with a good bitterness. Still pretty damn good.
Very fruity with a full and oaty body. Sweet in a juicy way and with grapefruit and stone fruit bitterness. Not really my style, but pretty drinkable.

Very fruity with a full and oaty body. Sweet in a juicy way and with grapefruit and stone fruit bitterness. Not really my style, but pretty drinkable.

Tastes thin but has a oaty full body. Flavours of citrus. Funky bitter flavour. I’m not a fan.
Sweet but with a good bitterness and flavours of chocolate and roasted coffee. Not amazing but pretty decent.
Funny, I can remember buying this, even if it has been 7-8(?) years? Well, tonight’s the night. Dark beer for a mellow mood. It still has lots of coffee and maple, and the carbonation is still there. Dry and roasty bitter chocolate and coffee. Excellent.
I had it a while back but due to having company I didn’t rate it on the day. I can’t remember how it tasted, but seem to remember that is was fine. I should have it the again the next time I see it, lol.

Juicy and fruity with a good bitterness. Dry and excellent.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) Borgquist
Sweet and boozy with flavours of maple, chocolate, coffee and bourbon. Very delicious (as always). If this is what I drink on a Tuesday, I can’t wait until Friday.
Now, this is finally to my taste - dry and bitter. Fruity, but not a juice bomb. Good flavour too. Excellent.
Clean and crisp with citrus flavours and a malty base and a slightly smoky finish. Not bad.
Fruity in a very fresh and clean way. Good above-medium bitterness. Simple but very easily drinkable.
It’s fine - fruity and dry with bit of bitterness, although not a whole lot. Not particularly interesting and pretty middle-of-the-road (in an already overcrowded field) but certainly drinkable.

Excellent WCIPA with piney flavours and a good bitterness. Not fantastic but no slouch either. I can already tell I’m going to have lots of these.

Drink'in The Sun (0.3%) Borgquist
Light, malty and fruity with a good bitterness. Quite refreshing - I kinda wish there was sun and it was warm. But for what is it - it’s quite drinkable.
A bit malty but luckily lots of bitterness to offset it. Some citrus notes. Excellent and very drinkable.

Dangerously Close To Stupid Borgquist
Not bad. Pretty clean tasting despite the high ABV. Also a good citrusy and dry fruity flavour. Excellent.
Very refreshing with flavours and a good bitterness. Very high carbonation. Pretty good though.
Fruity, juicy and clean tasting. Not terribly exiting though.

Still bitter and piney, but I like it better than the last time I had it.

Dry-ish and piney caramel flavours with some bitterness.
Full and creamy body. Immediate flavours of chocolate, vanilla, milk and booze. The GoT branding can fuck off, but the beer is fine despite that 😉

Juicy and juicy with a good stone fruit bitterness and a nice full body and a ton of flavour. Excellent.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa Borgquist
Roasty and full bodied with a boozy finish. Unsurprising (and honestly, unwelcome) flavours of cinnamon - and so much that it overpowers the vanilla. Well, at least the coffee and bourbon still has some heft. Not a bad beer … but I won’t have it again.

Fresh with a good hoppy bitterness. A bit malty though. Flavours of citrus, but not as crisp as I would’ve liked.
Just had it and it was much better than last time. Props to the server, who gave me this instead of another beer I’d had MANY times - but for some reason wasn’t as good as usual. This one had a nice flavour and bitterness too. Excellent.

Highly carbonated and fruity. Juicy with a good bitterness considering its style. Excellent.

Good juicy bitter grape flavour. Some stone fruit bitterness. Pretty good.

YES! Dry and roasty with flavours of roasted malts, lots of coffee and some bitter chocolate. This is excellent stuff. I love it 🍻

Lou Pepe Kriek (2019) Borgquist
Lots of cherries. A bit tart and sour and a good taste. Pretty okay.
Tart and fruity, but not super sour. Long finish. Not really my style, but I’ll do 😄🍻
about 3 years ago
Something odd about this one. Not bad - just a bit undefinable. Juicy with flavours of malt, oats, peppermint, citrus & stone fruit bitterness - just thinner and more “perfumy” than expected. Who knows - probably a combination of the hops used 🤷♂️

Der Berliner - Rabarber Borgquist
Fruity and sweet and not very sour. Distinct rhubarb flavour. Excellent.
I had it yesterday and now again today. It’s EXCELLENT! Super fruity and delicious.
It’s been a while, but it’s still good. Hoppy and bitter … although I would prefer a little less bisquit/caramel flavour.
Good citrus flavour and bitterness. Very easily drinkable. Excellent SIPA.
A real summer beer - light and fruity with a good mild bitterness. Tasty and easily drinkable.

Kentucky Bourbon Stout (KBS) (2021) Borgquist
It’s about the best one can wish for; deep roasty and dry with solid and smooth well-balanced flavours of chocolate and bourbon. Excellent 🍻
about 3 years ago
Well, this is what I was served, lol (last of the keg). Nice flavour of coffee and a bit fruity, but overall very good. I wish I could get more, lol. #Bastards #I_Love_You 😃

Genstand Til Bistand Borgquist
Doing my bit to support Ukraine 😉 A bit watery, but has a nice citrusy flavour and bitterness. Not had.
Dry and malty with a full-ish body. Fruity and malty with medium bitterness. I’d hoped for something more crisp and bitter tbh, but it’s drinkable.
High on roast and coffee. Full dry body and quite high carbonation. Great flavour and really old school. EXCELLENT, just my kind of stout.
Juicy and crisp with resinous citrus flavours and nice fresh bitterness. An easy 4.0. Cheers.
Tropical fruit notes. Medium bitterness, but a bit thin bodied. Very easily drinkable though.
Juicy but dry with a bit of stone fruit bitterness that also hangs around in the finish. Feels a bit thin bodied for a DIPA, but it’s fresh and tasty. Nothing too special, but definitely easily drinkable.
A bit boozy a first, but after warming up a bit, huge flavours of whisky, rye and chocolate appears, all in a full and roasty body. Not super balanced, but delicious never the less.

White Wedding (2022) Borgquist
My first thought is “fruity and sweet” and I guess that comes from the barrel ageing, although I probably wouldn’t have guessed if I didn’t know. It has a full body and. bit of bitterness too … but overall it’s not very good or something I’d want again.

Single Hop Series: Citra Pale Ale Borgquist
Yup, flavours of malt, grass/hay and citrus. Nice clean and crisp taste. Much better than expected, easily drinkable and overall an excellent Pale Ale.
Pretty mild for a 7.9 ABV beer, but has a really nice roasty coffee flavour to it, along with a really good balanced bitterness. Definitely one of the best beers from Caleidoscope. Delicious.
