Kaleissin

Definitely not a hophead. Gimme sour, gimme wheat, gimme an obscure Franken Zwickl and some dark rye bread.

Geuze Mariage Parfait (2017)

Yesterday. Worked quite nice with lightly smoked mackerel! I suspect with yeast would have worked even better.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2007)

Lovely hug of a sour, scary sessionable. Not the super-oily cray-cray that some lambics turn into as they age. (Not that I mind that but the night is young so I hope for one of those *later*)

HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend 2011

Beers like this is why we're staying at the hotel above this establishment :) All mega blends are different, but this is the oldest I've tried. Deep, round, complex, but not oily. Adding the yeast increases the sourness (though the clumps look bleaugh)

HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend (2021)

Lucky find! And under-priced, again. Crowbar's bottle cabinet is, definitely, better than what's on tap. Sour, very dry, bitter and light.

Phase Curve

Color like a wit. Very NEIPA but since it's a session, the bitter trumps the sweet
