Standardly good lambic. Solid but didn’t quite meet my expectations of how smooth and complex a Cantillon can be.

Wow. Underrated. So smooth and crisp. A model lambic. Happy 10th, Covenhoven and thanks for bringing this out for the occasion!

Classic Gueuze (2023) G

Solid but feeling a bit too heavy on the younger end of the lambic curve. Not tasting much 3 year for some reason.

Fou’ Foune (2023) G

Excellent. Really smooth. Crazy to get this on draft. If anything, just a bit too much apricot sweetness and not enough lambic character.

120 Minute IPA (2012) G

Unfortunately past its prime with a bit of oxidation but still holding its own very well.

Fou' Foune (2017) G

Outstanding fruited gueuze. So smooth and balanced. Neither too tart nor sweet.

Magic Lambic (2022) G

Standardly great fruited lambic. Nothing incredibly special but smooth, balanced, and not a touch too tart.

Oude Geuze Boon (2012-2013) G

Standardly amazing geuze. Held up so well. Smooth and rich. Underrated.

Black G

P rough unfortunately. Just really bitter.

120 Minute IPA (2012) G

Interesting how this turns into a barleywine/hops elixir. Holding up p well but I’d say the prime was at about 4 years of aging.

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2018) G

Outstanding. So smooth and balanced. I expected some tart but none at all. Not too sweet either.

Underground Mountain Brown (2019) G

Underrated. I’m not usually a fan of coffee beers but this one works really well. The way the coffee beans are roasted has a deliciously sweet, almost peanut butter-like finish too it.

Geuze Mariage Parfait (2010) G

Held up pretty darn well. Nice mix of barrel and tart. The high abv geuzues are so hearty and rich.

Big Worse G

Hop-forward barleywine. Pretty solid.

HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend (2017) G

Outstanding blend of geuze from 9 different breweries. Surprised the mix works so well. Balanced and flavorful. Not too tart.

Bruocsella 1900 Grand Cru (2016) G

Underrated batch of 3 year lambic. Really smooth.

Vigneronne (2019) G

Good but definitely not as amazing as earlier years. Lacking the complexity and mouthfeel that made this beer.

Underground Mountain Brown (2019) G

Solid beer. Would have thought it’s a stout. A touch too bitter up front but finishes really smooth. Thanks, Todd.
