How have never had this before?! Excellent lambic, but not really lambic weather here in Manchester!

Honey drizzled oranges with a touch of dry hay, leading into skin-on white grapes with a hint of lemon juice and a tinge of soured green apple. Light minerals and drying tannins with a light sour funk to finish.

Well kept but hitting that point of being past best, mellow cork pop, soft carb, sour funk all there but very subtle finish

Strong acidity on the nose and then… completely flat on the palate. Some hints of wood and that’s it. Looks beautiful though.

Bitter vinous oak turned up to 11, on this evidence it ages better in bottle

Funky, very dry cider-like apples. Oaky depth, & a tart lambic finish.

Sour apples and juicy stone fruits, complex funk and very bitter citrus pith upfront. Later woody tannins and white grapes, before a little tobacco leaf cuts through face gurning tartness to give a very dry finish.

Still life - this one's massively low in carbonation, it's funky, bretty, earthy, extremely soft with bags of umami. Nice bitterness, with oak tannins & a hint freshly rolled cigar, which becomes increasingly more pronounced - risks becoming over-bearing

Wow, super, super tart. Super, super dry. Quite bitter on the finish too. I love my lambics, but this isn't doing it for me, sadly.

2016 in Cafe Beermoth. Almost all carbonation has gone. Soft, tart, funky, sour, citrusy, acidic

First lambic I had with Will B. and Nate T. , not worthy to drink this basket delight

Delicious warming and citrus sweet, could be a barley wine

Thick, delicious, warming with just a smidgen slap in the face with rum.

3 x 370ml bottles shared 7 ways. Chocolate milkshake with a shed load and of rum. A little spice, a little fruit, a little oak and the softest of smoke. Booze, booze and more booze!
