Just a taster. Sweet and aniseedy. Not for early afternoon

Not sure how I’ve only checked this in once before. Needed a ‘palate cleanser’ between some imp stouts - suppose this will do… Raspberries all up in my grill. Appreciating the sourness as I drink. Yum 🍻

First time on draught, sulphur still heavy on the nose

I like it and I can't tell whether that's skewing my decision, but the verdict is: I think it's sour enough

Lovely drink in a lovely spot! Fair whack of sulphur on the nose. Sweetness from the rhubarb but fruit isn’t the huge hit like when fresh. Banging though.

A lot of apricot. Very smooth. But nothing earth shattering.

More restrained than the full bottled version but still a gloriously tart, woody, funky, dry joy.

Like drinking a soured ribena. Tangy but not overly face melting.

Slightly citrus and pithy. Lacking in sourness.

Bit watery for me and lacking the depth of a standard Boon. But still makes one think and enjoy the marked subtlety of the beer.
