Intresting take on a barleywine. Pours almost black but with a really clear apperance. Chocolate at first- then the spices from the Armangac barrels kick. Finishes rather boozy. This is a sipper.

So happy I got to try this one from Danish micro brewery Fanø Bryghus. Thank you Ulrik O. and Julie J. for bringing this one, it is so good! Barrel aged, fruity, boozy sweetness and I am really enjoying this. ☺️

Coffee is rather prominent. Roasted and dry, some faint cigar hints as pointed out by Ruud E. Dangerously easy drinking despite it's ABV. Thx Been R. & Kathleen M. Tasty.

Solid stuff here and thx Kathleen M. & Been R. Very roasted, almost charred with a liquorice touch and darkest bitter chocolate. Quite warming, grainy auspuff. Nice barrel tone.
