Was there ever a 1-dimensional beer? Maybe 2-dimensional as it's star anise and bitterness. One could say 3-dimensional, star anise, star anise and bitterness. You get the point? Not a bad craft, just lacking balance. Didn't finish it, obviously.

Mild duft. Smagen har noter af anis med lidt noter af appelsin. Den bliver så tør. Tja, tænker ikke det er en red ale. Den er dog ret let at drikke

Helt skæv i krydder-balancen. Tror det var stjerneanis, der totalt dominerede billedet. Måtte desværre hælde den ud.

Enig med den generelle bedømmelse. Ikk en harmonisk øl, kun stærk (chili).

Like being headbutted in the balls by Santa himself. It's Christmas violence ser!

Malty, licorice (star anise) and medium-high lingering bitterness. Can't really taste the oranges.

A little nutty, red berries, clear anise, a hint of bitterness. Way too sweet

A bit like a beer version of Fernet branca, just less spiced. I'm a fan!

A very spiced up beer, the anis and orange is strong and the citrus makes the beer very airy. It makes you think of Nordic bitters, lige Dr. Nielsen and Gammel Dansk. Perfect for the heavier Christmas dishes.
