Just love how the velvety, perfectly bitter coffee notes shine through in this one. IPA-amount of hops gives it sweetness, and of course the hoppy touch. I like this in a weird way. Would love to have it without the hoppy part, as a nitro stout or porter.

Time makes the heart grow ... Wearier? Loved this a long time ago, I don't think it's as good as it once was. Found a (very) old version one recently, drank better than this imo. Still, great beer, fun to revisit

Haven’t had this in, I don’t know how long. Nice one Lucky F. for getting this back in town.

Slight bitter ipa taste, pretty much just a coffee stout. Good stout though

Grinern navn btw.

Very interesting beer. I was definitely had my doubts if an IPA could work with coffee and roastyness, but it seems like To Øl manage to hit it just right. Smooth round roasty coffee with sweet fresh hoppy notes.

Strange brew, and an unfortunate pick for a sauna beer. I was thinking this was another beer entirely. That aside, this raises mixed feelings. I do dig the coffee, but don't think it fits an ipa.

Meget brændt i smagen. Bitterheden er lidt til stede til sidst

No hops found like 2 year ago .... Still have some roasted, but not much choc or coffee.

Kaffe-maltpræget smag! Og så humle oveni også. BIPA er sgu en genial opfindelse. Høj drikbarhed.

Hoppy / bitter meets coffee / roasty with great balance, bit of sweetness / caramel, hint of alcohol in aroma in taste

I like black IPAs, and this one is on par with the rest of 'em.

V1.0 was a favourite within the black IPA genre years ago. And this keeps my memory alive. Roasted coffee, chocolate, subtle fruitiness with a slight salty and licorice touch. Close to a porter. Well hidden ABV with a noticeable bitterness in the finish.

This has been in the fridge a long time. Not really getting any coffee or saltiness, just black ipa

Really good balance between styles. Idk what they mean by body salts, but this has a nice gentle saltiness, just a bit of roast, while still being soft and sweet like a nice stout, and ALSO gently bittered. Amazing to have this many flavours all balanced.
