Blåbær Lambik (Blueberry Lambic) Buckley
2021. Gorgeous. This one was quite funky, but still had plenty of fruit body.

This was so smooth. Almost creamy. Not sure if still very young or if that's just the blend, but I loved it. Lovely soft sweet barrels.

This was my fav of the day. Nice and soft, beautiful barrel. Just good lambic.

Most fruity and full-bodied grape beer from Cantillon I've ever had. Deep rich colour. Very nice.

Moeder Lambic Fontainas Cuvée X Browsel Buckley
Tastes like a lambic. Flat, lots of apple juice. Nice and clean though

Wild Friendship (2022) Buckley
A bit acetic for me. Rough edges from American wild ales. Lovely to be able to try this.

Lambic Vin Jaune / La Vie es Belge Buckley
Took a while (like an hour) for the proper character of this to arrive for me. As with Sophia/Drogone, the white variant brings a lot more interesting complex funk character than the red. At the end I really like this, although I prefer Sophia.

Quite simple, a little flat, super grape forward. Really smashablr and lovely. Kinda like a grape ale.

This is very very nice, but I had lambic fatigue at this point.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2016-2017) Buckley
After a bunch of really nice lambics, a straight flat lambic is really not for me tbh

Cantillon Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2017-2018) Buckley
Same goes for this one. After a bunch of nice lambics, a straight flat lambic isn't super nice to me. I didn't finish the glass.

Camerise Lambic (2020) Buckley
I was super keen for this. Was lovely, although a little swamped by the other beers had around it. I'm not super familiar with honeysuckle either. Thanks Wazza!

Gorgeous. Might not be as good as the 21 to me. Maybe it's too old? Fantastic still though

Black Malts & Body Salts 2.0 Buckley
Really good balance between styles. Idk what they mean by body salts, but this has a nice gentle saltiness, just a bit of roast, while still being soft and sweet like a nice stout, and ALSO gently bittered. Amazing to have this many flavours all balanced.

Blåbær Lambik (Blueberry Lambic) (2021) Buckley
Yeah this is great. I totally rate this. Thick heavy skins/tannins at the start - almost like cherry skins, soft and sweet. Later is more blueberry fruit juice. A little tart later. Really wonderful.

Never had Konatsu before - it's kinda like Yuzu but more lemon and less sweet. Not bad at all.

Lovely. This needed some warming, but is such a gorgeous soft beautiful grape lambic.

Tyrnilambic Baie D'Argousier (2021) Buckley
Interesting. I don't know what seabuckthorn usually tastes like, but this was like lychee for me. Strong fruit presence, very fresh.

Walked into cantillon to find a new friend drinking this on his own. Of course I helped as best I could. Lovely strong cherry, a strong aroma of some kind of spirit - sherry? Very beautiful. Great start to the afternoon.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2016-2017) Buckley
This is so nice. Apples and oak and lovely flowery funk. But in general I find flat lambics a bit weird

My first vig! Thanks Joe. Beautiful gentle white grapes. Wonderful delicate sweetness. Awesome balance.

Very lovely, lots of fruit (almost raspberry) flavour, mellowed lambic funk, plenty of dry skins. Altogether very nicely balanced.

Heaps tart, heaps of pith. Plenty of stone fruit, and lots of dried apricot body. Most of this sour is fruit sour, which I dig. Real nice amount of fruit. Solid. Should have this alongside some abri.

This doesn't smell like feet! Really lovely. Plenty of rhubarb sweetness and oil sitting on top of the funk. I like the amount of fruit here. Fair bit of vinegar too - not sure if I'm into that here or not.

This is lovely. I feel like there's a bit more interesting fermentation stuff going on here, so I reckon those port barrels had some fun activity going on in them. Paid a fair bit for this bottle - not sure I would again, but very much enjoyed this glass!

I like this even more than the Drogone. Softly acidic, just a touch of vinegar, heaps of gentle white wine. This is like a fistful of flowers kinda. That line between white wine and lambic. This is one of my fav Loons yet.

This is a good beer. Fancy event, small pour. Great to have the opportunity to try this! Plenty of grapes. Unfortunately I got the last of the bottle, but that's ok. Strong tannins coming thru on a soft lovely lambic.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2018) Buckley
This tastes like there is extra barrel in there. Really really strong oak and whiskey. Thanks Tone! Next I guess lol
