Cola and the fortified wine barrels very prominent. Caramel, dark fruits, booze soaked raisins, chocolate, bourbon, oak, brown sugar. Sprinkle of salt. Mild Xmas spices. Boozy. Couldn’t taste the vanilla or marshmallows. Very interesting brown ale.

Not long lasting enough, but nice. For me it got a whisky and coke kinda thing going on. Is a strong bow starched headgear or somewhere to launch your arrow? Either way, cupid is quids in!

Rood fruit, zoetje, bourbon en licht zoet. Vanille, redelijk gelaagd, besjes. Mondgevoel is prima, neigt wat naar het te zoete.

Bright lights of North London from my temporary hotel base. Even bought one of my Vietnamese glasses for my stay. Barrel aged chocolate and coffee notes. Rich, roasty and luxurious. Like a cake. Lovely.

Cinnamon nose. Sweet with flavors of cola and salty licorice. Very good.

We are not in Newcastle anymore, Dorothy! Can't say I've had such a potent brown ale before. Thick, sweet, plum flavoured and almost like a stout.

Brown ale for those who don’t like barley wine but want some of its richness. Fruitiness from pineau des charentes barrels, a bit of nuttiness, thick , somewhat sweet. Very good but no need to drink more than 200 ml
