Chocolate coffee and dried fruits. Sweet but not too sticky

Forfærdelig øl… smager af rævepis. Bestemt ikke anbefalesværdigt. Kan til nøds drikkes. Meget kraftig i smagen

Nose is coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is kind of strange. There’s a wine-like taste all the way through. Quite overpowering. In the background you can taste the classic stout notes. Chocolate, coffee. It’s not really my style.

My first thought is “fruity and sweet” and I guess that comes from the barrel ageing, although I probably wouldn’t have guessed if I didn’t know. It has a full body and. bit of bitterness too … but overall it’s not very good or something I’d want again.

Lidt mærkelig duft, minder mig mest om svesker. Virkelig spændende øl. Virker kraftig med en sødelig blomme smag, men samtidig med lidt bitterhed som gør noget rigtigt godt.

Lidt for sød og syrlig til min smag. Mangler lidt oomf I maltprofilen, muligvis fordi det bliver overdøvet af hvidvinsfadet.

Slet ikke for mig. Måske ikke så overraskende en markant vinus sødme fra den lyse port, og netop den tone, har jeg bare aldrig kunne forene mig med i stouts. Lactosen hjælper slet ikke, når fadet spiller den melodi.
