Adambier

Historical Beer - Adambier

Originally released last year as our Batch #100 - our Adambier makes a return, simply under the name Adambier! Adambier is an old German style of strong ale, rooted in the tradition of the city of Dortmund. It is a rich, dark and satisfying ale, brewed with a wide range of different malts - both caramelized, roasted and peat-smoked - to create a complex ale with notes of dark fruits, leather, honey and chocolate.

Sødme, læder/tobak og virkelig balanceret røg. Mangler bare en rød bøf… 😬

malty, slight peat smoke, slight chocolat, wood, dark berries, dried fruits, almost a hint of bourbon, very deep taste, long heavy aftertaste

Don't care much for the nose, as it reminds me of old plums... But the taste is surprisingly satisfying! Dates and brown sugar ascends to a dark, intense caramelly sensation.

• nearest knejpe to my new work and it’s been years since my last visit here • probably my 1st Adambier 🇩🇪 • Bock-ish aroma as U.O pinpoints • strong malty 10.5 with some - licorice - caramel - tiny smoke (could wish for more in 1 and 3) • 😌🙏🏼Hector

It’s no Royal Oak, but pretty damn solid. Notes of dates, and leather. All on a chocolatey sweetness. Tiny hint og smoke preventing it from being too sweet. All in all well balanced in the sweet side, but quite complex which is nice

Fed mundfylde.

Lots of oatmeal in smell and taste. Chocolate, prunes, dry fruit, a bit of smoke(?). God body, nice alcohol
