A fun beer to drink, a bit much at the start. But it then plays out it's true profile, tart and slightly sweet in the aftertaste.

Still, this might be the ”worst” vintage of Fou’ Foune. It’s still well and good, but the apricot is subtle as hell.

I can't believe I found this on tap in Wien. Delicate, fruity and a bit tart, just like an excellent apricot should be. Dry finish, perfect balance. More subtle than I expected, which could be due to the age, the vintage, or my American expectations.

Still one of the true Aall time greats. Lovely aging here, bright lemon tartness up from and a tonne of apricot flavour. Sour funk. Dry finish with lots of long-lasting fruit

Apricot is there but I imagine it has so much more punch fresh. Acidity is also relatively subdued. Drinks fantastic. Happy early anniversary Mikaela C. ❤️

Working through a backlogged kill list. Liquid but no mold under the cap. Cork bottom quite wet but emerged intact. Lovely soft white head that lingered a while before fading to steady surface foam. Nose is still hugely apricot, with moderate funk that
