Sang Bleu (2023)

Lambic - Fruit

Lambic blend with blue honeysuckle, or haskap, berries. For the past two years, we’ve been making a fruited blend with Camerise berries in small quantities. These berries are slightly sweet with a beautiful acidity. We didn’t have to look very far for a its new name... a blue fruit that makes a blood-red beer: Sang Bleu. Our friend Ammo has outdone himself once again, creating a superb new label to go with its new name.

Phew! Not for the easily frightened, but quite easy drinking for Cantillon. Superb.

Un color rojo muy profundo, espuma fina y muy frizzante , en boca una acidez muy equilibrada con notas a cerezas ,frutos rojos con una sensación maderoza

Tanic. Lovely sourness and deep acidity. Really well-balanced.

A Christmas treat! Vinous, refreshingly tart, lots of berry sweetness. Fun to drink.

Always a treat getting one of these! Sour blueberry, black currant and plum. Definitely a splitter, but one of the champagne of beers.

perfect execution. usual amazing base from brewery. honeysuckle is delicate and well balanced - not. floral overload like many beers. berries as described - light acidic + light sweet. super clean + smooth. not fav flavors - only reason not rated higher

Aromat kwaśnej jagody, intensywny z lekkim finiszem waniliowym. W smaku szczypie trochę w język od kwasu, ale krótko. Przypomina trochę niedojrzały agrest, wolałbym nieco więcej nut funky, a tak jest miły balans

Bottled 10 Jan 2023. Nice fresh tartness with lovely blueberry (honeysuckle?) flavour. Classic funk and soft malt. Needs ageing really but still very scrumptious.
