Oof, I remember when this used to be $16 at my local bottle shop. Rounded earthy acidity. Less lemon, more rhubarb. A little less funk than I remember, but it’s there. Frankly, Tilquin and 3F are on par with this. 750ml, 8.75*

Sist rest i fatet. Mye eddik, litt plommer, grønne druer, litt nøtter, høy, tørr. Ingen karbonering

Not as good as I remembered it? Almost still, not a ton of funk, missing a lot of what makes Cantillon great. Maybe it’s just the draft version? 12oz, 7.75*

White wine grapes, soft acidity, surprisingly white grape juice forward.

Wandering into a Cantillon tap takeover. Very happy with this

tastes like bold baking cherries with a moderate lambic acidity

'21-'23 vertical. Oak-forward, has more "grit" than funk. Definitely getting that aged lambic acidic intensity

'21-'23 vertical. Favorite of then. Best combo of funk, sour, overall complexity

The most fruit-forwatd version I've ever had. Smooth, mild funk, not its usual acid level

Almost a tea-like nose. A gently sour and funky. But gorgeous. Yet I am drinking this to cleanse my tongue.

Side by side pours new bottle and last pour. Serious acidic hit, tons of sugared raspberry. Big bright tart, notes, some balanced funk. Age is balamced

09.08.2021 Wasn't the biggest fan of this vintage a year ago, but now it's drinking quite well. Brilliant acidity w an apricot character that's genuine, really pleasantly expressive, and near yellow peach levels of stone fruit goodness, lingering nicely

Found it, came and got it. I could have played it safe, but only the good die young.

17 december 2020 Damn this is a great vintage for this! Fantastic combination of wine grape and Lambic acidity. Dry and full bodied red wine grapes, complete with tart skin and peppery seeds/pits, Brill ant layers of oak and acidity from the Wine BAing

Why not, indeed! Lots of grape. Tart and funk. A lovely treat.

The nose is unremarkable. But the tongue is unremitting beauty: Harvey tart raspberries for funky sour days. Great vintage, or maltage, as I say.

28 September 2021 bottling A pleasant Lambic to sip, still full of complexity but much milder and goes down easier due to it being still. Notes of tart grape skins, sweet flesh nd peppery pit. Light overall peppery-ness. Nose has cheese nd vinegar funk.
