I was expecting something bone-dry, and it didn’t deliver on that aspect. However, what we have instead is a sour but not acidic, fragrant and aromatic excellent… something.

Galician Beer Taster - R. Riveiro
Aroma vinoso y asidrado. En boca, no demasiado agria, aunque con bastantes sabores brett, con bastantes toques a piel de limón, algo de dulzor que entra con madera de barrica, algo de humedad. Alcohol súper bien integrado. Muy rica.

I've seen more Biere de champagnes than ever before on this trip. This one is much more alcoholic than the last few, but probably the best.

Fascinating beer. It’s absolutely a wild ale on the nose, so much funk and yeast. Flavour-wise, it’s remarkably clean. There’s some fruity sweetness, wrapped up in a clean, Brut-y body. Truly interesting and shockingly well balanced.

Wine and oakey on the nose, sour on the palate, with dry Sauvignon at the end.

Thick and sweet apple juice, vinegar, ripe nectarine. Strawberry. The taste is quite rich and smooth. Creamy with a sense of vanilla and tannin. Oaky tail recalling champagne.

Oaky thing. It’s just like the barrel they aged it in. Grapes and dry as a cork. It’s got flavors and depth, but it takes a bit to get through the barrel

Interessant kompleksitet. Sødme og syrligheit ispedd litt bittert. Klart preg av kvitvin.
