A bit like soy sauce. I'd hoped the high abv would have preserved it over the decade since it was bottled, but I suspect a lot of flavour has been lost.

Bootle from 2012. Unusually fruity nose, massively boozy mouth. Doesn't quite feel like it's a beer.

Had a small glass at the desk earlier, rude not to! Huge boozy hit, with petey aroma & liquorice notes. Slight sourness has crept in. Could be on the wrong side of aged...

44/50. Dunno which BA George this is, but I'm sure it's not bourbon & guessing cognac (the taplist just said "George BA"). Very tasty nevertheless. Dry, roasty w/ distinct barrel aroma.
