Dark, roasty, aged in the bottle for an indeterminate period. No bubbles, no hop flavour. All malt.

Imperial Stout aroma. Dark, thick and sweet with a hint of chocolate and some acidity at the end with mild bitterness.

Not very thick stout but the coffee character is briljant. Stront, roasty, nutty and a bit sharp and tart. Smooth soft chocolate and biscuit base.

Taking advantage of a wait for the bus home with my first visit to the Actor. Much as I embrace keg nowadays I still struggle with keg-only places a bit, but when the range is this good … an absurd drink for 2pm but it’s lovely

Sämig wie ein Barrel Schweröl. Gute Süße, etwas Kaffee und Vanille überall.
