Bottle at home, black beer, small to no head. Aroma is chocolate, malt, roasted coffee. Taste is the same, alcohol, sweet, bitter, very good

Надзвичайний "імператор"... Чи не вперше маю честь дегустувати "звичайний" imperial stout, який я прийняв за BARREL AGED. Звичайно, я не "The Cicerone" в мистецтві створення пива, але мене вразило пиво, яке я прийняв за витримане в бочці з під рому.

coffee coffee! followed by vanilla. and an almost BBA characteristic (even though not BBA variant). smooth. pairs nicely w pork belly 'burger.' bao bao! 😋

Sjokolade, lakris og røsta malt. Passelig søt og måtelig røsta. Real munnfylde. Knekk, vanilje og kaffe. Pastry uten å være kakete. Holdt seg fint siden flaskinga hos Lervig i '18. Må bare få det ut: gla i ræ, George!

Dufter kaffe og karamell. Tjukk munnfølelse med fint skum. Smaker kaffe, brent toast, sjokolade (både melkesjokolade og 86%), kakao, vanilje, karamell og kandisert frukt.

So many imperial stouts promise vanilla. This is vanilla led with a decent amount of not too bitter coffee in the background. Outstanding.

This bottle is from around 2010/2011. Rich and meaty, minimal signs of age, ash, dark chocolate. Dense and tasty.

LCI. Old school stout. More bitter (thanks to the coffee) than sweet. Love it! Last one from 2018's Mikkeller Advent calendar.
