I never planned on drinking a geuze in November. I bought this when the weather was warm, but life happens. I read geuzes don’t cellar well, so here I am. Drinking my first geuze on a chilly fall night. It’s good. I like. See you next summer, geuzes.

Very light and carbonated. Sweet with overripe apples. Weird earthiness. Kind of has a dead hoppyness upfront. Champagne vibes with familiar metallic tang.

Førsteinntrykket er en klassisk belgisk geuze på øverste hylle, men så forsvinner smaken med det samme. Hele kroppen mangler. Den lille calvados-snerten på slutten drar opp. Lettdrikkelig, en geuze for de som ikke liker geuze.

A ghost of lambics past. Sour mothballs in a dark dusty basement. Weird metallic scent on the nose that does not match the taste. Not much apple left
