Super tart & earthy. Kind of forgettable vs the others in this series

A bit too mellow on the sour notes. It had some years in the cellar so I didn't get any earthy or beetrooty notes.

Hätte mehr Rote Beete erhofft. Insgesamt ein erdig saures Lambic. Nicht mehr aber auch nicht weniger.

Ei tässä kyllä hirveästi punajuuri maistunut. Aika vähän happamuuttakin. Ei parhaita spontaaneja mutta ihan kelpoölle.

Had this last at Mikkeller Tokyo on draft in Jan 2018 and was stoked when I found this bottle. Unfortunately, this bottle is mostly flat and hasn't held up.

This has been much different than the rest of the series I’ve had. This is almost more of an Oude Bruin style. The beet is still there, but wonder what this was like fresh.

I don't hate it, but I'd like it a lot more if it were more tart. It's a little bitter, definitely earthy. Interesting for sure. "Beety" is the only appropriate flavor tag.

Huh beetroot lambic is something Cantillon would have to attempt if they havent already. Smells like those fried beetroot chips you get at some gastropub. The taste is not as sweet but more complex than the carrot. Still lovely overall! Spontan 3/10

Initial though: "a beer with WHAT?" Smell is very tart, yet at the same time sweet, though hard to place. Taste is also very tart, fresh, sour. Glides over in an earthy taste. I get the ground part, but no distinct beetrot. Refreshing, crunchy. Weird :-)
