Old school bitter IPA revival of perhaps 8 to 10 years ago when you talked about IBU bitterness level rather than today’s hazyness and hop sorts. Mikkeller passport stamp as well. Strange not visiting this place since it is not far from Omnipollos hatt.

Well, holy shit, I can say I’ve had this at the source now! Crazy thing is, I don’t get hardly any bitterness on this, and all I get is sweet blueberries…. It’s boozy and a nice night time sipper for sure, but where is the bitterness? It should melt me?

Er nok først og fremst en gimmick. Kanskje den teoretisk mest bitre, men det finnes så mye ipa som smaker bedre.

Wow it's grassy, lightly herbal, a moderate pine character and some malty sweetness. Odd novelty beer.

Det er maltsødmen, ikke bitterheten som slår deg. Ikke spesielt god, men et interessant blikk i bakspeilet. Dette var altså hva man forsøkte å oppnå før The Alchemist, Trillium, Treehouse og Monkish.

This can't be 1000 IBU. Medium bitterness compared to the bitter bomb the previous was. Sweet caramel malt, refined sugary alcohol, unidentifiable hops and very little aftertaste.

Ikke så bitter som jeg kunne se for meg. Interessant at bitterheten den reklamerer med faktisk ikke merkes så godt.
