Deep golden cloudy Barleywine. Sweet boozy raisin nose. Sweet raisin take. Vinous boozy body with a very sweet balance and crisp malty touch. Fresh raisin through. Not nauseating, as older deeper BW. Hints of alcoholic nodes break through in the long end

Smagt i Aarhus, under vm-kval: DK vs Østrig!. Klassisk Barley Wine, (fra 2018) der helt sikkert vil vinde ved yderlige lagring.

An incredibly boozy golden syrup. Starts off so well but heads towards a chore only mitigated by the oncoming fuzziness.

Aprikosmarmelad, apelsinzest, grankåda. Lång söt & len beska. Fyllig & snäll men utan att bli inställsam.

Caramel. Very smooth. Dryness balanced by malt. Finishes very sweet but the ABV still warms. Great intro to Barlestone.

Pretty floral, soapy, malty aroma. Messy, porridgy taste with floral hoppiness. No hints of booziness, tho lacks depth, very simple brew.

Floral, quite little flavour, actually has lactose, bit tea-like, herbal bit. American style clearly, with dry bitterness. Deep caramel flavour, but very little. Bit too basic flavoured even for aged one.

Fruktig humlig doft, molnigt bärnsten i färgen. Stadigt gräddigt skum. Sammetslen gräddig munkänsla, full kropp. Lite av en käftsmäll i smaken men snäll inledning och jobbar sig uppåt. Söt karamell, maltig beska, långt avslut med russin, torkad frukt.

Distinctly winegume nose, pleasantly sweet taste, malt, vanilla, orange and big resinious punch. All well balanced

Torkad frukt i doften och smaken, lite marsipan... Lite knäckig malt i smaken och finishen. Gott!
