This is why I'm here. Dark chocolate hits big and quick, excellent medium roast black coffee, mild cola notes. Sweetness has faded, almost seems thin, the 11+% subsides with warmth. Delicious, but better 2 years ago IMO, could still drink this every day.

Quite sweet stout. Flavors of coffee, dark chocolate, and maple syrup. No taste of alcohol. Very good

Chocolate, mellow coffee, maple syrup. Hint of roasty bitterness in the finish. Velvety smooth mouthfeel, alcohol very well hidden. Excellent.

To bad they quit making this, 2019 was the last year. Aging has done it justice.

I actually prefer kbs a bit more. Although cbs is more smooth itâs a little too sweet especially side by side

Eindelijk geopend, goed biertje maar de verwachtingen lagen hoger. Lekker veel choco en wat koffie, zonder de bitter. Einde vakantie.

Winebanc Toa Payoh. Nose is big coffee, molasses, cola. No head, but decent lacing when agitated. Maple has completely faded. Roasty, coffee, some barrel booziness. Tasty. Bottled 9/17/19

Meant to have a few nights ago with the 2019 KBS. But since I'm an old man, I feel asleep. Plenty of barrel and maple on this one. Good thing there are a few more in the "cellar" aging.

pretty good balance at this point, and the flavors are still good. i was never as big a fan of this one as some, but this is pretty good.
