Super gelagert, zuletzt vor 3 Jahren getrunken. Angedickte Konsistenz, Ahornsirup, nussig,, kaffeeartig, schokoladig, ölige Konsistenz, die Lagerung von 3Jahren taten dem Bier gut.

Still has a couple of years on it. Still delicious. The maple dies a bit with age but I still dig it. 4.35

Blind tasting, this & KBS 2019. I picked this, K the KBS (there is NO wrong choice). CBS has such a complex profile now, it's a journey ending with huge dark roasty cocoa and alcohol burn. Love it.

Rich, creamy, dark, toasty, roasty, cocoa, and coffee. Surprisingly tasty for my normal likes.

Dark espresso, as clean and intense as it comes on the KBS, but adding that delightful maple touch. Dark choc and coffee notes remain the main focus here, maple adds a layer and an extra balance to that darl bitterness. A classic, so rich and balanced.

Grabbing one from the cellar. Had this one before but definitely worth the repeat. Chocolate for sure and that maple syrup sweetness. The booziness has toned down for sure. So freakin good.

This aged well, coffee notes gone...much better. Enjoy the beer, not a fan of the brewery!

Last 12 oz bottle. Great thick pour, still boozy on the nose n throughout. Hint of maple peering through the window, but fading fast. Probably past its prime but trying to hold on.

Maple-vanilla nose, not overly strong. Roasty, maple. Just a little boozy heat… noticable, not a negative.

Bottled is not draft! I have to lower my rating... Still - I could become religious. There have to be some divine being with this in the world!

Mjölkchoklad och kola. Lönnsirap och ekfat. Mjukt och välpolerat men har tappat lite sedan senaste årens lagring och är förbi sin topp. Och nu är en klassiker slut.
