Doften ger lönnsirap och lakrits tillsammans med en hint av bourbonfat. Smakmässigt är det kaffe, lönnsirap och mjölkchoklad som märks mest. Lite bourbonfat mot slutet. Len och krämig med en helt ok fyllighet.

Licorice and oaky, bourbon barrel nose. Bitter, slight cognac sweetness. Warming and what you'd expect from an aged Founders breakfast stout.

This could be the best stout I've ever tried. If I could give it 6 caps, I would. My neighbor had a couple of these stashed away, brought them out to celebrate the end of my cancer treatments!

An amazing classic, this year is thinner in my opinion but always awesome. On nose a buge aroma of cocoa nibs and coffee. Pours dense and oily with a thick brown head, sweet and smooth, hints of maple syrup, chocolate and coffe well rounded by bourbon

I found this tucked away not all that long ago in a beer distributor in Montgomery County. The chocolate has remained very strong as it's aged. The barrel aging has dissipated a little, and its much more chocolate forward now.
