Breakfast for dinner calls for a breakfast beer! One of our last few CBS bottles.

One of my last remaining bottles. While the intoxicating aroma may have faded a little, this beer is still a wonder. So complex and so smooth, for the life of me I will never understand why Founders stopped brewing it.

Another awesome one from Founders. Chocolate and coffee are always a favorite for me. Bourbon barrel is understated and just right. Thanks Pete!

Sep 2019 vintage. Think I like it better now. Maple has mellowed, coffee comes through more. Go Aztecs!

Nice hearty barrel aged as expected. Lots of chocolate. Dark and boozy.

I like how this is noticeably sweeter than KBS yet not enough to describe it as sweet. Maybe that hard water sensation lends to the non sweetness. Also really like how the flavors (vanilla, dark chocolate, nuts, coffee) are subtle while being very smooth.

Aged very nice drinks like a 6% porter. Still has a nice coffee note to it and some sweetness from the maple
