Sweet malty flavor not distinctly maple. Roast coffee and chocolate with bitterness on the finish.

Always worth a check-in. Wish they’d bring it back, glad I went ahead and popped this. Something was a little off, still tasty.

Strong bourbon aromas, pours a smooth and creamy dark brown head. Delicious mouthfeel, rich body of bourbon, chocolate and coffee flavors. Sticky and boozed finish. Aged for 3.5 years, unable to tell the difference with fresh version. Worth keeping.

Aged nicely (2019) and no detectable umami or predominant dark fruit notes. Thick, sweet and enough coffee to balance it out. Not as outstanding as the rare batch I had years earlier but still very solid.

Today is the 10th Anniversary of joining Untappd!! Also my last CBS which is holding up nicely!!

Staat iets beter dan de 2017, maar is ook een beetje dun geworden qua smaak. Nog wel wat goede bitters naast het zoet, veel koffie en caramel

Maple is fading on the nose and taste. Roast is there along with fading chocolate but going a tad thin.

One of my favorites- bourbon, maple and chocolate flavors meld together. Still pretty good after 3 years

Carbo toujours là. On dirait que ç’a un peu perdu en alcool. Du moins, le corps est vachement moins épais que dans mes souvenirs. Enfin mes souvenirs en même temps…sinon le layering est cool : choco, café, gros bourbon enveloppant. Subtil.

Warm: a very rich chocolatey beer. There is a slight bourbon flavor. However this beer was pretty old, bottled in 2019, so I think it could be much better if it were fresh. Still it is a very sweet very strong chocolate stout.
