The maple is much more subdued with time. Still good, but definitely lacking some of the punch it used to have.

Phenomenal. Mellow but flavorful. Toned down with age, but there’s a reason the bottle I got a year or so was my favorite beer ever. My expectations may have exceeded reality, but its an incredible beer. Draft and temp may have something to do with it

Aging made it pretty mellow…still very tasty but lost a little if the CBS zest

Aging this was a fine choice. I would have aged it longer, but I accidentally opened this, thinking it was a Breakfast Stout 🫠

Found an old bottle of CBS from 2019 @Cable Bottle in Nanuett, NY. Mmmmm. Sooo gooood.

Breakfast for dinner calls for yet another CBS from the cellar. Only really getting fudge brownie and cinnamon sugar with very little maple at this point. Definitely not getting better, but still very solid. Need to finish off the rest of the stash!

Advent Beers 2022, Day 25 (Pt.3) - An awesome end to this year's advent beers, great to finally revisit CBS. It's sweeter than I remember, the maple syrup, chocolate, coffee, and bourbon make for a heady combination. Still absolutely love it though.
