Delayed check-in. This stuff keeps getting better. Happy to find it on draft at Fitzgerald’s in Eagle River. The peanut butter pie made it even better.

Everything is still there. More chocolate too. Not balanced at all though making it a bit chaotic. I still have a bottle of the GOOD stuff (with the mountie on the label).

In der Nase Kaffee, Schokolade und eine Süße (könnte der Ahornsirup sein). Das Ganze findet sich auch am Gaumen wieder. Zusammen mit gut eingebundenem Alkohol findet man hier ein sehr gutes Stout :-)

Even better than last year, more maple and chocolate than before. Just over 3 years in the bottle, you would think some flavours might start to fade away, absolutely not

Still not sure why they quit making their best beer. 3 years later and the flavors still hold up. One of my all-time favorites.

So soft and smooth! Maple syrup, vanilla, bourbon barrels, dark chocolate, coffee, oak and toffee. Small and smooth carbonation. Sweet and dry ending. Amazing beer! ❤️🍺🍺💕

Na een mooie wandeling langs en over Keltische muren (Hunnenring, vanaf 450 v.C. tot 300 n.C.) is het echt genieten op onze hotelkamer van dit overheerlijke barrel aged bier. Verder veel chocolade in de smaak.
