oh my, this one has definitely mellowed nicely. still plenty of bourbon on the nose but just hints of booze remain otherwise. mouthfeel’s velvety smooth n almost light, easy drinking chocolateness. gonna haft to raise this one a quarter. 🪙

Revisiting another classic that I used to not appreciate due to its exaggerated us of maple and booziness. Either the recipe or my palate changed, as I found this bottle way more balanced than what I recall.

Rich barrel aged bourbon & maple aroma. Sweet mocha taste, first sip has an intense boozy hit mellowed out by more maple syrup. Dessert in a glass. No Denim Jacket Required! Or double Denim either! 👌🍺🇺🇲

Bottled 9/30/19. Always amazing. Always delicious. Black coffee with a stack of fresh pancakes and good barrel aged maple syrup. Founder’s flight 2/4.

Checking in again after aging a little. Just as good as I remember. Layered yet smooth like baby ass.

Smooth and well balanced. Rounded chocolate, coffee and maple syrup flavours. Sweet but not sickly. The bourbon BA is there but fairly subtle. A touch boozy.
