Bottled 12+ yrs ago on 2/9/11. Still viscous & roasted. Carb is fine. Sugary chocolate of 6 yrs in is mostly gone. A delightful roasted smooth RIS from the pre barrel era. As it warms further some hidden chocolate emerges. Happy to have more. #cellardive

12/22/11 bottle date. Thick dark and has a malty, roasty licorice and molasses flavor. Aging phenomenal good. Close to 11 years.

I’m fairly sure this is a 2011. Doesn’t taste too old but does have a bit of oxidation. Should pair well with my sausages once they are done
