This was rather disappointing. Not what I would expect from Founders. A Sweet Regret!

OK. Boozy. Not as much character as I would expect... And not as much as I like.

Clear amber-orange with frothy ivory head & outstanding lacing. Candied-apricot nose & taste; add orange-peel & maple-syrup flavors. There is lovely malt-hop balance. Bourbon-barrel is also evident. This is a delicious wheat wine from Founders !

So different of a beer style but really good! The barrel aging is subtle as is the maple but the rye shines through!

Boozy, malty aroma, that carries through in the flavor. Multi layered flavors that make this one a very rich tasting and enjoyable one.

Not bad. Not great. I've had some really great wheatwines so maybe I'm spoiled but this just didn't really stand out to me at all.

Very strong, but less flavorful than I remember. I thought this might age well.

The aroma put me off. I thought the sweetness was going to be overwhelming. Pleasantly surprised it was well craft. Just enough maple to sweeten the deal. Leaves you feeling warm from the bourbon finish

I didn't read the label. All i say was maple syrup and was sold haha so the first taste was odd to me. But then read aged in bourbon barrel and it made sense. Not bad just different doesn't taste like typical beer definitely has a bourbon taste to it

My first wheat wine. This is really nice. Smooth, sweet, caramel, boozy. Definitely an after dinner sipper. Wonder how this would pare with a good cigar? Now to find a bottle.

Barrel aged series. 12.8%. Bourbon barrels. Smooth and sweet like maple caramel.

This wheat wine ale is bordering on being too sweet. But it is still a very good representative of the style. I can only do 1 maybe 2 per session. Very boozy and rich. Nice change of pace brew for when you just want something different.
