I appreciate Founders' consistency with putting out the best barrel-aged beers around. This was incredible, as expected!

From Friday night. Excellent beer! Wheat wine style ale aged in both regular bourbon barrels and maple syrup bourbon barrels. Sweet with bourbon, maple syrup, caramel, vanilla, and oak.

12.8%. Maple syrop bourbon barrel aged. Nice complexity. Tongue tingles build on the back end. Nice.

Really good. Sweet (but not cloying), clean, and packs a punch!

Late check-in from last night. Bottled on "11-2-22" and picked up a single to try last Saturday. Anyways, this 12.8% ABV brew has a lot going on in both the aroma and taste. Really enjoyed this overall. Cheers friends to Thirsty Thursday! 🍻

This beer is a lot to take on the palate. Not overly sweet. But massive and malty. Maple syrup and bourbon hits hard. Pine resin, Carmel, molasses, oak, toffee, clove and white grape. So massive and complex. This will warm you in a blizzard This is massive.

Sweet, boozy and strong, really smooth drinking for a bourbon barrel aged.

Great maple bourbon palate, lighter wheat wine character.

Big, sweet, and boozy. Hints of vanilla, bourbon, caramel, and dates, with a long, dry, vinous finish. A perfect beer for aging.

12.8% aged in bourbon and maple syrup barrels... Wow!! Boozy, but that's OK...

It’s a sweet wheat beer very different, and buzz worthy with 12 percent

Mmmm. Love a good wheat wine, although there aren't many out there. Not getting any overt maple, although the BA notes are pretty soft, so maybe it's impacting that.

Thanks Craig W. For this! Pours a true copper with a nice off white head that lingers into a great lacing. Sweet, heavy and strong boozy nose Caramel, sweetness and syrupy. Lingering soft alcohol heat Mild carbo with a blossoming warmth/radiation

A really nice wheat wine with great barrel and maple flavors. Goes well with Tulsa’s own Red Light fried chicken!
