Sweet caramel but the boozy bite is a bit too hoppy for me.

Maybe a tad too maplely. Or may have been a mixed-up palette.

Didn’t pick up any maple. Some honey. Rich. Odd blend of bitter hops and sweetness

Maple syrup and leather. Not my favorite. But drinkable for sure.

No nose. Deep copper color, very sweet and strong. Flight size is perfect. Tangy finish with instant buzz to the head.

Tastes like a mixed drink to me. Boozy and sweet but not much else. I let it warm but no significant change.

Wheaty, caramelly and slightly oakey. Not bad

Very boozy…maple taste is strong…a little much for me

Better than I thought it would be. If you like heavier beers, this will hit the spot. Definitely a one and doner. 12.8% 😳

I think I was expecting it to be a little better. It was still good! Just might be my least favorite Founders beer.

I feel like the maple syrup sweetness doesn’t quite mesh with the style, but it’s pretty solid still.

Last of the 4-pack. Not sure I'll get it again. Hood, but on the sweet side.

It has sweet in its name, still, might need to be called super sweet or uber sweet.

Nice flavor and upfront sweetness but an odd bitterness at the end that lingers a bit too long

"Wheat wine ale with maple syrup, aged in bourbon barrels with a 12.8 abv %" Very interesting stylistically. Not what I anticipated. Smooth. Bourbon barreling starts to present as it warms. Not much maple syrup, unfortunately.

I think my taste is changing away from bourbon barrel aged beers
